COLUMBUS, Ohio - Admiral King's J.T. Feldkamp, who was Lorain County’s Mr. Baseball and Lake Erie League Player of the Year in 2007, is having a solid freshman season as Ohio Dominican’s starting catcher.

Last weekend, Feldkamp hit a two-run home run for his second homer of the season in a loss to the University of Rio Grande. The Panthers currently are 22-14 overall and 14-8 in the conference.

He logged innings for the junior varsity squad last season and came into the season as the No. 1 catcher after the departure of All-American Joe Janusik.

At Admiral King, Feldkamp was a three-sport star in baseball, football and basketball.
