Myor and Rohrbacher earn OAC Players of the Week

BEREA, OHIO – Elyria's Caitlin Myor and Sandusky's Mackenzie Rohrbacher were named the Ohio Athletic Conference Hitter and Pitcher of the Week, for their play last week during Baldwin Wallace's six-game win streak.

The Yellow Jackets opened last week with a doubleheader sweep at Wooster and then swept twin bills against Heidelberg and Capital.

Myor, a 2008 honorable mention All-OAC selection, batted .579 (11-for-19) with three home runs and six RBIs, which earned her player of the week honors for the second time this season. She currently ranks second all-time in B-W history with 28 homers and 117 RBI.

Myor is already close to breaking her own school-records of 12 homers and 46 RBI in the 2008 season. She also has nine triples and 35 RBIs.

Rohrbacher was a perfect 3-0 for the week with a 0.41 ERA. She struck out 16 batters in 17 innings. For the year, her record is 7-4 with a 2.11 ERA, which includes seven complete games.

The Yellow Jackets have now won 10 in a row and are currently 20-8 overall. They are also in first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 6-2 record.
