Schlessman’s perfection sets tone for NCAC win

Perkins graduate Amy Schlessman, whose in her sophomore year at Kenyon, made it through her singles and doubles matches unblemished on Monday. Schlessman didn’t drop a game against Wooster and the tennis team followed suit in a 9-0 rout of their North Coast Athletic Conference rival.


Schlessman and Prita Kidder hung Wooster’s first goose egg on the scoreboard in the top flight.


To earn her fourth-straight triumph at No. 2 singles, Schlessman won in straight sets by identical 6-0 margins. Her two blankings were among five 6-0 set victories the Ladies posted in singles competition.
