Percival notches All-AMC Volleyball honors
Amherst’s Lauren Percival, a sophomore setter at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, was selected on the AMC First Team, along with being named as the AMC Setter of the Year, becoming the first player in school history to earn that award.
MVNU will be the No. 2 seed at the upcoming National Christian College Athletic Association Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla.
Percival ranks third in the NAIA with 1,662 assists. She has also posted 95 kills, 47 aces, 49 blocks, and 590 digs along with a .957 serving percentage.

The Lady Cougars, who are the defending NCCAA national runner-up, will begin pool play with a noon match against No. 10 seed Southeastern University and a 6:30 p.m. contest against Trinity Christian College on Thursday. Then, the team will play King College at 10 a.m. and Campbellsville University at 4 p.m. on Friday. The semifinals and finals will be held on Saturday.
