Huron’s Lauren Volz made it official, signing with the Ohio University to play golf next fall.

This past golf season, Volz shot a 155, which was good for the 8th best score in the Division II state tournament.

After winning the conference, sectional and district titles, the Huron girls golf team finished in fourth place at the state tournament at the par-70 Ohio State University Gray Course in Columbus.

Volz shot a 75 on the first day and an 80 the next. Volz was a Second Team All-Ohio selection.

This was the third straight year Huron has made it to the state tournament. The Tigers finished in fourth place as a team last season.
