Thompson makes second team in OAC
Huron’s Andy Thompson, a junior defender at Baldwin-Wallace was named to the second team of the Ohio Athletic Conference, for his outstanding play this season.
Joining Thompson was Jeff Grater, who was named to the first team and as the OAC’s Midfielder of the Year. In addition, Tyler Leister, Carlin Vandendriessche and Pat Brennan were also selected to the second team.
Thompson finished the season with one goal and had the second most assists on the team with six for eight total points. He played in all 22 games and earned his third varsity letter as a three-year starter. Thompson will enter his senior season with five goals and 10 assists for 20 total points.
