Jarvis named East Division Offensive Player of the Week
Amherst’s Courtney Jarvis was named the MAC East Division Offensive Player of the Week after her performance at the Colgate Invitational.
Proving to be one of the most consistent players in the league, Jarvis once against led the Zips in all three wins over Colgate, Cornell and Connecticut last weekend.
Comparably as dominant defensively, Jarvis had a double-double in each match posting 50 digs on the weekend while also registering seven service aces and two assists. Named to the all-tournament team, Jarvis’ best match came against tournament host Colgate as she had a season-high 27 kills and 23 digs in the five set win.

Averaging 4.82 kills per set posting 53 total, Jarvis had only nine errors in 121 attempts for an outstanding .364 hitting percentage.
