McArthur named OAC Player of the Week
Keystone’s CJ McArthur was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his outstanding play on Saturday.
McArthur, a senior safety, blocked a Marietta punt in the second quarter that the Muskies recovered for a touchdown. The block marked the second-straight game that special teams have blocked a punt. McArthur ended the game with three tackles, one pass break-up and one block.
McArthur’s play helped lead Muskingum to its second-straight Shrine Game win against the rival Pioneers and propelled the Muskies to their first 2-0 overall and 1-0 start in the league since the 2003 campaign.
