Amherst’s Austin Meggitt has been selected into The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

At the Convocation for Entering Medical Students, Austin was presented his White Coat during a ceremony honoring incoming medical students. His grandmother, Anne White, from Sharpsville, Pa, presented him his first stethescope engraved with his name.

Meggitt graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University (in May) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in The College of Biological Sciences. He is a 2006 graduate of Amherst Steele High School, Amherst, Ohio.
