Amherst’s Abbie Hornyak is running cross country at Otterbein, who are prepping for the Ohio Athletic Conference championships in two weeks. The Cardinals turned in another solid performance, finishing third at the Wilmington College Fall Classic last Friday.

Hornyak finished in 98th place (21:00.11) in the event.
Otterbein recorded 119 points to place third among 31 teams. The University of Findlay led all teams with 103 points.
Hornyak took 92nd (22:24) at Xavier, 96th (22:10.76) at Cedarville, 141st (22:10.4) at Otterbein Invite and she didn’t run in the All-Ohio.

The Cardinals will be back in action when they host the Ohio Athletic Conference championships on Oct. 30 at the Otterbein cross country course in Westerville.
