Sandusky's Gus Everson has decided to continue his swimming career collegiately, choosing Eastern Michigan as his college of choice.

Everson was a two-time state qualifier for Sandusky, and placed ninth in the state in the 100 freestyle.

He holds Sandusky school records in three events. He has the 50 freestyle record (21.27), the 100 freestyle (46.14) and the 400 freestyle.

He also earned All-American recognition in all three events in 2009 and All-American in the 50 and 100 this season.
