Midview graduate Kris Boey was named Great Lakes Region Men's Coach of the Year after guiding the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan to titles at the All-Ohio and NCAC championship meets.

That marks the third straight NCAC outdoor crown for the Battling Bishops and extends Ohio Wesleyan's string to its sixth-straight track championship counting both indoor and outdoor titles.

Ohio Wesleyan is ranked No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region. The Regional Coach of the Year citation is the seventh for Boey in the last 4 seasons.
