Richey-Obey finishes seventh out of 166 bowlers at Capital Classic
Southview’s Jazzminn Richey-Obey led The Hampton University women’s bowling team, as it won four matches last weekend at the Capital Classic, hosted by Delaware State University. Richey-Obey took seventh place out of 166 bowlers
The Lady Pirates went 2-3 during team match play, losing the first two to Adelphi University (847-873) and Delaware State (798-909); however, they won the next two against North Carolina A&T (851-801) and Howard (874-828). Hampton came up short against St. Peter’s 878-888.
Richey-Obey led the way with a total pinfall of 950, bowling a season-high 235 against Howard.
