Brown and Lowe go off on Bobcats
ATHENS, Ohio - Southview’s John Brown drove in five runs, Perkins’ Josh Lowe had four, and both players drilled three-run homeruns as Cleveland State defeated Ohio University, 16-5 Tuesday night at Bob Wren Stadium.
Brown finished 3-for-4 with three runs to go along with his five RBI, while Lowe went 2-for-4 with two runs.
Brown hit his three-run home run in the second inning and Lowe hit his three-run dinger in the seventh, his fourth of the season.
Lowe has started 15 of 19 games played and is batting .362 (21-for-58) with four homers and 16 RBIs.
Brown is currently batting .367 (11-for-30) with 10 RBIs and eight runs scored through 12 games played, including six starts.
With their 10-7 win over Eastern Michigan Wednesday night at Lorain's Pipe Yard, the Vikings have won four straight, improving to 6-15.
